Rettig Portfolio Design is founded by Mrs. Shawn Rettig, a native of Southern California who has over 30 years of experience in interior and exterior design, naval interior design, remodel and building project management

 as well as decorating and coordinating for holiday and special events.

Mrs. Rettig holds a great deal of knowledge and experience in business, finances, real estate (as an investor and developer & licensed realtor) as well as retail and management, which gives her a unique edge that she incorporates into her passion for interior design.

Shawn has always been drawn to fine furniture and was taught by her father, a marine carpenter, to appreciate classic craftsmanship regardless of the piece’s style. As a designer, she has an appreciation for many diverse styles of décor from Soft Contemporary to Storybook English Tudor. Each home, commercial space, and yacht is unique, and Shawn strives to capture the essence of each project.

In regards to interior design, it would be best said that Shawn’s talent would be the 

melding of mismatched pieces into stylish groupings, creating an eclectic and elegant style.

Dr. and Mrs. Rettig are also the owners of a boutique resort called “Gary’s La Fonda”, 

located in Northern Baja, Mexico! 

Mrs. Rettig divides her time between Lake Arrowhead, Northern Baja, and Newport Beach, 

where she resides with her husband and their three children.
